the world is a scary place and a terrifying place for people like us and I know that and I understand that and I live that every day. but despite it all, we need to celebrate the trans joy. celebrate the one getting their first binder, the one painting their nails for the first time. celebrate the one who found out which pronouns work best for them, the one who smiled when their name was called at a coffee shop. the ones who can't be out be out in public, and the ones who can, the ones who are scared and those who are not, every smile, every joy, every win no matter how big or small - we need to celebrate that more than ever. because as we must respect the darkness of the trans sorrow, we must celebrate the trans joy, because the sorrow makes those firey little stars burn even brighter.
Amy: weird question, but do you ever wonder what death feels like?
Sonic: oh it doesn't feel like anything
Amy:
Amy: what?
Sonic: like. You can't really see or hear or feel anything. It's just kinda dark and quiet. And you can't really think either so you don't feel scared or sad or anything like that. But you still feel cold somehow. It's weird
Amy: why do you say that like you've died before
Sonic:
Amy: Sonic is there something we need to talk about
Sonic:
Amy: Sonic
